  7.                                  Mail Base

  9.     Please note: Mail Base will not fit everyone's needs!  It was written
  10.     as a simple to use mailing label program and will not provide all the
  11.     features found in some commercially available programs.  Mail Base can
  12.     be used for everything from a personal Christmas Card list to a small
  13.     business system.  But it is not a small system, used on a hard disk
  14.     system it will maintain up to one billion records or up to the available
  15.     disk space.

  18.                           Optional Field Descriptions
  19.  
  20.     The first step in the Mail Base program is selecting the optional
  21.     fields to use in your system.  The optional field descriptions cannot
  22.     be changed, but you can select which fields to use and what they will
  23.     be called.  By selecting only the fields you need and naming them to
  24.     match your application Mail Base will provide a custom mailing list and
  25.     data base to fit your needs.

  28.     The following list are the optional fields which you can select for use
  29.     in the Mail Base system.  Each of optional fields you select will contain
  30.     information about the person or business on the mailing label.  Even if
  31.     you select an optional field you do not have to enter any information
  32.     for that field and your future needs should be considered in the
  33.     selection of the fields.

  36.     Telephone #2 - a second telephone number using the same form as the
  37.          telephone number on the label entry screen.
  38.  
  39.     Date - any valid date using the format MM/DD/YY.
  40.  
  41.     Data Fields 1, 2 and 3 - fields which allow numbers, letters and other
  42.          characters to be entered, 20 characters long.

  44.     Number - any number with the range of -99999 to 999999.

  46.     Dollar - any dollar amount from $-99999.99 to $999999.99

  48.     Questions 1 and 2 - any question which can be answered with a yes or no
  49.          answer.

  51.     Notes 1 and 2 - fields which allow numbers, letters and other
  52.          characters to be entered, 70 characters long.
